Viper Car Alarms

Viper car alarms have been around for a long time and have a reputable background.  In fact, when some mentions something about a car alarm, usually Viper is the first thing that pops in their head.  Remember the commercials they had playing when someone would go to steal someone’s car in the parking lot, and the viper would come out of the car and the thief would go running?  Well that commercial is what helped brand their name into your brain when you think of car alarms. Don’t get me wrong, the commercial isn’t just all hype, they make great car alarms.

Viper car alarms come in many different models and they all have their benefits.  Some of the alarms even come with a remote car starter which is great in my opinion, not only do you have the comfort in knowing your car is safe from theft, but you also have the comfort in knowing that when it is cold out you can start your car without being inside it and let it warm up so by the time you get to it, it is nice and cozy.  Their car alarms are very reliable and have a good reputation behind them, so don’t be worried about that when deciding whether or not it is just the name and not security.

A really cool thing they have now is GPS tracking.  You can be notified when your car alarm goes off and the location of it, if your car is being moved while the ignition is off which is invaluable because that also notifies you of the possibility of your car being towed.  There are many more options it comes with, but my favorite of all of them is this one.  You can disable the starter if your car has been stolen, which means the next time that person turns off the car, they will not be able to start it anymore and you can then use your GPS to get the location of your vehicle and notify the police and retrieve it.
